The Boats Guests and crew travel and stay onboard the “MV ORCA”, our air-conditioned, 55ft Mothership. She is a 50 tonne, steel built vessel, equipped with large stabilisers that ensure stability and passenger comfort. Originally built as a dive/research vessel, Orca is very spacious and easily accommodates up to 12 guests plus crew members. Orca is fitted with advanced electronics and technology. Enclosed passageways & stairwells allow guests to travel around the vessel in complete safety. The large deck at the rear of the vessel, is covered by a solid awning that can be enclosed by clears. This deck provides a shady location for our guests to relax on or to fish from. Orca provides guests with generous accommodation, comfortable bedding, storage space, hot water showers, toilet facilities, and a spacious galley and saloon with TV DVD and Xbox. She also has a washer/dryer for convenience. Orca is also equipped with a desalinator, to ensure a supply of fresh water, a dive compressor and ample refrigeration to keep your drinks cold and freezers for guests to freeze and pack their quota of fish for transport home. For those guests who require their electronic gadgets there are a number of power options available. All meals and light refreshments are included. Tea and coffee are available all day. Fresh local produce is complimented by freshly caught fish and seafood each day. Please note that all trips are BYO. Orca carries 2 x 16ft Polycraft reef dories with 30hp 4 stroke motors, Sounder/fish finders, VHF radios all safety equipment and can fish 4/5 anglers in comfit. Please note a current boat licence is required. Orca Carries on Sportfishing Trips 2 x Custom 19ft centre consoles with 90hp motors large forward casting decks with safety rails and rear casting deck. These vessels carry up to 4 anglers and are guided by (1) of our crew.
