About Us Ultimate Sportfishing Charters is a first class operation, offering extended fishing charters in the tropical waters of Central, Northern Queensland's Great Barrier Reef. We are based in Yeppoon, at the new Keppel Bay Marina, just a 30 minute drive from Rockhampton's’ Jet Airport. Our affordably priced, five (5) full day, extended fishing charters, take you to the pristine waters of the remote Capricorn Bunker Group, Swain Reefs and {Broad Sound} Shoalwater Bay. To ensure our guests comfort and safety, three (3) professional crew members accompany every extended charter. You can be certain that you are in reliable and experienced hands. Our crew genuinely enjoy fishing and boating and they are more than happy to share their knowledge and expertise with our guests. You are very welcome to bring your own fishing tackle and test it against some of the heaviest and fastest fish you are ever likely to encounter. Our vessels are equipped with a range of purpose built rods and reels specifically designed to battle the tropical heavyweights and speedsters you will encounter. We offer our guests a range of lure packs for sportfishing, that can be purchased prior to departure. These packs include heavy class line, lures etc to get you started. A range of tackle, line and lures are available on board our mothership for guests to purchase for their own use or to replace should you damage or lose any of our equipment.
